And then up to Thule on Air Greenland (no, really) for the Det 3 change of command. We had a great time and the ceremony went very well. I am always honored to be the officiating officer at these ceremonies even though I know that it's traditional for the next highest commander to perform them. I'm still a little amazed that I am the "next highest commander." But Mount Dundas still amazes me. And BTW, the plane was late leaving the base so in my 4 trips to Thule, every one has been affected in some way by a broken plane.
